IN fact the Asia Pacific Region is the most dynamic trading zone of the world economy and is expected to grow even further. The expansion in trade shall not be possible without the further expansion & development of marine transportation and thus port infrastructure. This shall necessiate both newer technologies and better ideas for technical & economic reasons.
