The fraternity of the International Federation of Asian & Western Pacific Contractors' Associations (IFAWPCA) mourns the passing away of: DR. T. N. SUBBA RAO, one of its prominent and distinguished gentlemen who in his years with the IFAWPCA family has contributed substantially to the Federation's growth in the past years. Dr. Subba Rao was IFAWPCA President in 1991 during the 25th Convention in Bombay, and was bestowed the IFAWPCA Lifetime Member Plaque in 1999 at the 30th Convention in Kathmandu. Besides his IFAWPCAn achievements, Dr. Subba Rao was CICA President from 2001-2002 and bridged IFAWPCA with the global construction industry confederation. In his own country, Dr. Subba Rao was BAI's Past President during his early years.

We are saddened to bring the news of his passing away on August 13, 2008 at 5.30 p.m. He will be truly missed by the IFAWPCA brotherhood. May his soul rest in peace.
